For the On-The-Go person, this 30 minute massage will focus on one or two areas that require special attention.
New Era's 1-Hour Massage is a complete body massage, from head to toe. There are three types of massages available: Swedish Massage, Trigger Point Massage, and Deep Tissue Massage. Within these types, there are three variations of pressure which will be controlled by the client: light pressure, moderate pressure, and deep pressure.
Swedish
Swedish massage consists of light to moderate pressure. It's purpose is to improve the circulation of the blood, relaxation of the muscles, and helps with drainage of the lymph nodes. Swedish is one of the most commonly used massage for relaxation.
Trigger Point
Trigger point is a technique used to substantially help and reduce pain such as TMJ, fibromyalgia, headaches, soft tissue problems, and low back pains, among others. This technique can be used during a massage upon request. It is recommended that trigger point be used during 1 ~ 1-1/2 hour massages.
Deep Tissue
Deep tissue massage is used to penetrate the deep muscles that need attention. This techique is commonly used on clients, not only to loosen up tight muscles, but to also release toxins for muscle growth. (This is not recommended for 1st time massages.)
Sports massage is used for athletes who run, bike, swim, hike, and any other sports activities. Our sports massages vary from techniques of vibration, friction, tapotement, petrissage, and stretching. Sport massage can be used before sporting events, either to loosen up, or warm up muscles. In addition, this massage can be applied after an event to prevent muscle cramping and soreness.
Prenatal massage is especially designed for the mother-to-be. During the 2nd and 3rd trimesters, the mother almost always sleeps on her back or on her sides. This often causes arms, shoulders, legs, and the lower back to ache. New Era's Prenatal Massage is a great, soothing massage for the mother. These mothers deserve the opportunity to get off their feet and get those sore spots out of their shoulders, neck, arms, and back. Special care is taken for the safety of mother and child.
